Tour Itinerary
(Hippodrome) -Blue Mosque- The Snake Pillar - The German Fountain of Wilhelm II-Yerebatan Cistern - Grand Bazaar: Greeting at the airport and you will drive about 1 hour to visit the ancient Hippodrome with Obelisk of Theodosius(Hippodrome) which is located in Sultan Ahmet Meydanı, it was once the place of where the sports games and the center of the public life of Byzantine Constantinople and was built in 203 BC by the emperor Severinus Septimus. At the same place, you will see the Blue Mosque, it is also known as Sultan Ahmet Camii. The Blue Mosque was built between 1609-1616. You will also visit The Snake Pillar and The German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Your next visit place is Yerebatan Cistern, which was built by the Emperor Justinian in year 542. After having lunch, you will have time to take a look at the famous covered Grand Bazaar. Finally, you will be escorted to your hotel in Sultan Ahmet Meydanı. Overnight at Istanbul.
Topkapi Palace - Hagia Sophia - Spice Bazaar: In the morning at 9:30 meet you at the hotel and keep going to one of the legendary palaces "Topkapi Palace" which was built by Sultan Mehmet II in 1460 and was finished in 1478. Next, you will pay a visit the Hagia Sophia ( Ayasofya ) museum, the Emperor Justinian was the builder in year 532 it was finished in 5 years. Is the oldest cathedral in the world. After having lunch, you will take a look at the spice bazaar, it is also called “The Egyptian Bazaar”. Unlike many modern shopping malls, the Spice bazaar an alternative for buying special and different spices, local food and other ingredients.it will be visiting where you can feel the Turkish cultural atmosphere. Overnight at Istanbul.
Bosphorus cruise - Pierre Loti - Golden Horn: Appointment at the hotel at 9:30. On this day you will set to a Bosphorus cruise (which separates Asia and Europe sites from each other ), where you will admire the incredible Ottoman villas, the Palaces of Dolmabahçe, Çiragan and Beylerbeyi, the Rumeli Hisari ( Fortress ) and much more. You will have lunch and after lunch, you will visit the hill of Pierre Loti, the highest point of Istanbul, where you will have a magic view over Istanbul. Finally, you will visit the Golden Horn. You have the possibility to stay one night more in Istanbul or you can take the late evening flight to your homeland.
